It seems that they used a size 6 fit model for the size 12 shorts (I am somewhere between a 10 and 12 in LL Bean bottoms, depending on the cut of the garment). Yowch! Sent back the 4 pairs that I ordered right away.
I purchased the same style shorts last year and loved them. I did find that it depended on the color of the shorts because they were made in different countries. Those made in Dominican and Macau were perfect. This year they are all made in the same country and they do NOT fit well at all. Very disappointed!
I was very disappointed in these shorts, as you have changed the cut & sizing. I have your same shorts, purchased previously, in 6" inseam--I really wanted the 7" ones, so I was delighted when I saw them in this years catalogue. However, they are a different cut--smaller & slimmer. I tried on my other 6" ones, size 8, & they fit fine. I'm hoping you will return to the previous cut, but give us ladies 7' for our "not so young -looking " thighs. Thanks, Magah
I hated them! Why did you change them? I have been wearing Batside style shorts, pants and crop pants for years, and have always loved how they fit. The "New" Bayside twills fit more like chino style shorts. I returned the shorts for a refund. Bring back the Bayside in their origional design!
