You ruined a classic LL Bean product--the sizing is all messed up now. My old pair of shorts (size 14) fits perfectly, yet when I ordered the same size this season, they were tight at the waist and too narrow at the hip. I returned them to my local store, and decided to try the "curvy" fit--they were baggy and looked ridiculous. This is a perfect example of "If it ain't broke don't fix it."
Very nice product. The shorts fit well, they are very comfortable, and they look good. I have three pairs in different colors and would certainly buy more.
I ordered them in Navy Blue and liked the color. They were true to size in the waist and hips and they are a good quality for the price. The only thing I would change is the size of the legs-- they are a bit wide for me. But, overall I'm happy and I will be keeping them.
I have a pair of LL Bean chino shorts, size 8 regular that I love, but needed a new pair. After reading reviews here I was worried about the size, so I ordered pairs in 3 sizes: 6, 8, and 10. The 8 was perfect and true to size. Not sure why other reviewers have had issues with the size. I do find the length long---I will likely take them up an inch. My other pair had two slit pockets in the back, this one only has one. I do prefer having two, but I'll live with it.
