I was hoping to replace my LLBean khaki shorts that I've had for years and went up a size according to the measure chart. These would have been perfect except for the fit. They fit well at the waist but puckered at the hip -- so looked horrible on me. I'll have to keep searching.
The quality of these shorts is just fine. The problem that I am encountering is size chart does NOT match the actual product. The overall size of the shorts was much bigger than the size chart indicated, almost 2 inches on the waist! With this being said, I find myself buying and returning because of how the item fits.
After reading all of the other reviews I was hesitant to purchase these shorts. So many of them claim the waist is cut really small. I wasn't sure about what size to order, but I went ahead and ordered them in the same size I have 2 other pairs of LLBean shorts in already. They were a perfect fit! The other shorts I have are several years old, so I was pleasantly surprised that the new ones fit the same.
