Ordered these flats in my regular shoe size for shoes such as Danskos and Birkenstocks. Returned them for a smaller size and they were still too big. Unfortunately now they are on back order. Very cute shoes though.
These shoes are cute and seem to be comfortable, but I had to send them back. They ran small (I usually wear an 8 and my foot was squished up against the toe of the size 8) and the heel was too wide, so my foot slipped out the back. A little elastic at the heel wouldn't hurt. Too bad these didn't work out -- they would have been perfect with just about everything!
I was SO excited when LL Bean started to offer more contemporary styles. When I ordered these flats, I was anxious to wear them all spring and into summer...unfortunately, they are going back to the store. First off, they run big. I'm typically an 8.5...but these feel like they run almost a half size bigger. Second, the leather trim around the opening of the shoe is VERY stiff and was too uncomfortable to wear, even to try to break them in. The rest of the leather was very nice and soft, but I couldn't get past the trim. On the plus side, the foot-bed is nice and soft, with some arch support that is typically rare with flats.
