This is a very light-weight rain jacket. The inside is "plastic-y" rather than lined, and that is exactly what I wanted.
My old three-in-one winter raincoat has seen its last days, but it was always a little too much coat for me. I bought this jacket to replace it. It hits me great at the very top of the thigh. The hood is adjustable, and works just fine for me.
I would absolutely recommend this product to others.
Purchased this jacket and at first loved it. Just what I wanted. Stone color great and very light weight. Great for travel. But when I got home I tried it on again and found that even though I usually wear a small or extra small in a jacket and this one was a medium, it was snug around the hips. I would not be able to wear a sweater under it. So, I will be returning this item. Wish it fit better.
This jacket is great! It kept me totally dry in the rainy season in Costa Rica. And there was a lot of rain! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that after washing it (and following the instructions to the letter) the left sleeve is allowing some moisture through, so I plan to send it back and get a replacement. I think this is just a freak thing.
Features: The hood is very adjustable and does a great job with or without a pony tail. Pockets are very handy and it packs very well.
I bought this jacket based upon the video and how the hood does not obstruct your view. I like the fact that it doesn't. The color is nice and the fit, even though a bit snug, will serve it's purpose. You can't wear anything bulky beneath, but a light layer will work. It keeps me warm and dry. It's the perfect grab n' go rain coat
