Fabric is durable and light, but sizing is a bit tight especially the sleeves which are narrow for outerware gear. Despite the underarm zippers, ventilation is poor, so although the product might keep you dry from rain, your shirt still ends up wet with perspiration. The fabric tends to sticks to bare skin, especially to the arms. The chest pocket is generous enough to fit my smart phone. In summary, there are better rain gear products for the money.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I work for a local municipality that just started a leaf and brush collection, that requires me to ride the back of a packer truck. Must work in all types of weather so this jacket is a must. Worked today in a rain storm and stayed dry all day. When not using for this product for rain it is great for a windbreaker as it does get windy on the back of a truck. Under arm vents come in handy when you start to get warm to let fresh air in. Could not be happier with this jacket, well worth the investment. Would like to see a lime green color so road workers will be more visible.

I like the jacket. It is lightweight and packs nicely. The inner lining is a nice touch and you do not stick to it. I have the large tall and it fits well. The length is a real asset when you have long arms -- 35 inch sleeve. I like the color, the orange and yellow, it helps you be seen on dreary, rainy days.
Fits nice in the sleeves and is a good length but is tight through the back, which makes it hard to lean forward without the jacket riding up over your shoulders. It also suffers from unfinished edges around the top of the zipper, which in sunlight, looks as though the fabric is frayed or very worn out. I like the overall design, and despite the weird unfinished bits, it's basically of good construction. My only other gripes are with the white hood interior (which looks odd when the hood is down, and flashes in my peripheral vision when the hood is up), and the crinkly sound/feel of the TEK2.5 fabric. I'm generally pleased with L.L. Bean products, this one however is a miss.
