Light, utterly waterproof

ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Got these for the 5 of us (mom, dad, 3 kids) prior to going to UK/Ireland for a month.
All 5 jackets (including my long) rolled up nicely into the bottom of the single day-pack we took with us on outings.
Worked great for stowing, and breaking out on a moments notice (when it would randomly open up on us).
Not a drop gets through, even in areas where there is lots of friction (underarms, down at sides, end of sleeves...)
Although the colours offered were decidedly /touristy/ we were glad to be able to pick out the 3 little blaze orange kids walking around that were ours as a quick glance.

Best Rain Jacket I ever owned
PostedJanuary 25, 2011
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, 100% waterproof
I've had mine for 3 years. I wear it in the Vancouver Rain, that's a lot of days in a year. Affordable and comparable to more expensive brands...
I love this jacket! The FIT is regular... and the Price is GREAT!

An instant classic

ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, packable
I bought this jacket to live in my 'go bag', and for that purpose it does definitely not disappoint. It folds flat enough to hardly know it is there. When needed, the jacket does an excellent job blocking the rain and wind, or even as an outer shell for even harsher conditions. The pit zips are definitely a welcome addition when engaging in heightened activity levels. Tek 2.5 is reasonably breathable, but definitely holds the moisture in when you're working up a sweat. This jacket has saved the day when hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, even a concert or 2 in massive downpours and always keeps me dry. The visored hood does a decent job keeping the rain off your face. It has withstood all I have thrown at it, and about the only terrain I have avoided is a briar patch. Highly recommended. It has become an indispensable jacket for me.

WATERPROOF STORM JACKET
PostedJanuary 7, 2011
ProsPerforming as Expected
I would like to "stick" up for this jacket
and "refute" the negative reviews that I've read.
"THIS IS A GREAT JACKET" I own (2) of them. Yes it's light weight to be used as a protective shell against wind and rain.
What I've learned
is "Layer" "Layer" "Layer" and this jacket is great. I buy mine an extra size larger and add LLBeans "FABULOUS" Polar Tec Fleeces.
35 degrees I use the light weight fleece, the colder it gets, maybe a (2nd) Fleece but we are now talking 0 degrees or below 0.
When you buy the heavy parkas you are stuck with the weight around your arms. I also "LOVE" the polar tec fleece
vests when it's really cold I use the one
jacket polar tec, a polar tec vest the storm Jacket and you are "Warm in any
weather.
POLAR TEC, POLAR TEC it's great. It pulls the sweat from your body and pulls it thru to the outer shell.
BUY THE JACKET, BUY A POLAR TEC FLEECE AND LET THE COLD WEATHER HAPPEN.....
