ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Two weeks off the coast of Maine and this jacket far exceeded my expectations in every way. As durable and functional as my offshore gear but as comfortable as my windbreaker. It even breathed better than my friends $300 jacket.
This jacket is light and breathable when the zippers under the arm are open. Holds water out very well. The hood shileds your blindspots a bit when youre wearing it but thats hardly a knock on a great coat.
Well I have worn the jacket a couple of times now after just ordering it a few weeks ago. I'll give you my pro's and con's list pros: Waterproof, looks awesome! (got the gray one), fits extremely well in the body and sleeves, comfortable around 75 degrees. Cons: Liner is somewhat sticky and uncomfortable over 80 degrees though still worth putting up with, hood fit is small compared to the body of jacket however it is great at keeping rain out and still pretty comfortable. Pockets well sealed and useful.
Overall I would definitely buy it again especially at this price which seems expensive but is about half the price of competitors rain gear. I got a ton of compliments on the way it looks so you can't go wrong with Bean! Especially with their satisfaction guarantee.

My husband loves this jacket. It's super lightweight, waterproof zippers and adjustable hood closing is something he coments about all the time. He's not one for bragging about clothes but he can't live without this jacket. In fact, he left it on a plane in Alaska so I'm having to order him another one to replace it.
It keeps him dry and comforatbly warm with just a long sleeve shirt underneath.
