My family and I use this jacket and pants for our golf outings. Bad weather has never stopped us. And now that we have these truly waterproof garments we will be doing it in style and comfort. Easy to get in and out of and the color selction is wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone who wants and needs a waterproof garment!
This jacket was exactly what I was looking for. A rain jacket with pockets and also a wind breaker. When it was cold outside, I just wore a sweatshirt underneath. All of the draw strings do what they are suppose to do. Keep the wind and rain out. A possible improvement would be a zipper encloser on the collar for the hood. I am pleased with this pruchase.
I got this jacket as a light weight backup shell in case it rains on desert hikes. So far it hasn't rained but I did pull it out during an afternoon of sustained 50 mph wind. The fit is good and the hood stays on in the wind. I looked at other stores but ordered from LL Bean because they gladly replaced a field watch free of charge that had died after about 15 years of use.
