We have afternoon rain very often in South Florida in the summertime. The lightweight waterproof jacket is ideal for summer showers as well as for cooler weather.
I needed a packable rain coat, this one does the trick but for $99 it is not that much more of an upgrade from the "Trail Model" jacket at $60. This one has a few more features (pockets, multi-colors) but not $40 worth. If you're looking for a good rain coat consider the Trail Model first before considering this one. My son has the Trail Model and loves it!
