I wore this camping in Colorado and had a few rainy days. It did an excellent job keeping me dry, and the pit zips worked great to keep me from getting overheated from the inside. It's light weight is a real plus when the weather is warm AND wet! Enough room to layer under it so it's a very capable jacket. Takes up very little room in your pack or suitcase. I would definitely recommend it !!
This jacket is a very good product that I have used in heavy rain and it performs extremely well. My wife and kids have borrowed it on rainy days (which we have had too many of lately in Michigan for June). I like the feel, weight and vents.
The only reason I did not give the storm jacket five (5) starts is because of the small pockets and the lack of additional pockets. I think it would be better if there was another exterior pocket and/or one or two interior pockets.
My sons and my 3-year-old grandson all have this storm jacket and all have appreciated how dry they remain, even in the pouring rain. The armpit openings on the adult jackets are great in warmer weather for breathability. The jacket's appearance is another asset to this item; one can look great and still be "waterproof." We are all very pleased with the jackets!
