I took a short trip to Chicago last weekend and encountered an assortment of the "Windy city's" weather including cold rain, wind and muggy humidity. The storm jacket was just right for the elements. I was pleasantly surprised to find the wind protection was more than adequate for the rainy squalls I got caught in. It took very little space in my light bag and will travel with me in the future.
The fit is perfect. Love the hood how it really keeps the wind and rain out. Visor large enough to keep rain out of my eyes. Also windproof which I was hoping it would be but the catalog description didn't include in the specification details.
I am a small guy so this year's trimmer fit looks much better on me except that the hood is a bit too small unlike last year's which was snug yet large enough to wear with a cap under--not this one. Oh, well. Overall a very good re-design.
