When I first received the jacket I thought "No way this will work." I thought it felt cheap. I then went to a high end store and felt their jacket. Strangely, it felt the same. The true test came tonight when my wife and I went to the theater. We came out and walked into a downpour. The jacket came through like a champ!!!! Dry as a bone. You will have to really layer underneath it. Good buy!

Lightweight, easy to grab and go. Perfect for rainy weather, has the bill over the face, longer over the backside and perfect pockets. My husband especially loves the zipped vents under the arms. Dries out quickly and has the most awesome map on the inside material! Those who appreciate maps of Maine will love it!

This is a really nice jacket; appears that a lot of attention went into details. Zippers are sealed up when zipped, nice material, and lightweight. But don't let the thinness or weight of the jacket deceive, it does keep you pretty warm. I was wearing it in low 40s temps in rainy conditions and felt warm enough. I'm glad I went with this weight and not the thicker jacket, the one with the fleece collar.
