As advertised, this jacket is breathable, lightweight, and waterproof. However, I have been reading reviews that complain that the jacket loses waterproofing within the first year. I will be watching this carefully.
I purchased this jacket for two reasons. It is available in tall and was a good price for a jacket with nice features. I am 6'-3", the jacket was way too short for me. You should probably get the tall if you usually don't buy tall. It seems well made and a nice quality. The hood really needs to have a better method to stow away. There is a very odd flap which stows the hood somewhat. if you are tall, you should look elseware.
I ordered this jacket for my son in college. It is a must-have. It is great at keeping him dry as he walks or bikes to class in the rain. The jacket keeps him dry but is breathable.
The jacket is fine, but I can't figure out how the "roll away" hood works. There's no way the velcro tab can contain the hood because its entirely on the outside of the back of the jacket. Am I missing something?
