The fleece is comfy and fits as I expected. The colors are a bit off from what is shown on the website though. I ordered the aurora purple which shows online as a lavender/purple color. In real life it is more of an orchid pink - not really my color but it is comfy enough that I will keep it despite the color.
Love how lightweight, yet cozy & warm, this jacket is. I like that it's a bit longer than a similar hoodie I ordered a few years back...hits me at the hip bone - I'm 5'6". It'll be perfect for AM walks. Washes beautifully. I ordered the medium and it's perfect. Like that the hood lies flat - no bulk!
This is a good jacket to wear around the house over a t-shirt or on a fall day and it fits well. The only negative comment would be how the jacket has started to pill after washing. The color has stayed true with no fading and it keeps it's shape.
I love these fleeces- they really have thought of everything with these. The fleece is lightweight- I wore it all fall long (in several colors of course) over t-shirts and was comfortable. They are also lightweight enough to wear under my winter coat. The hood has come in handy, and even though it doesn’t have pull strings, match it with a scarf around your neck and the hood stays in place.
The full zip is definitely the way to go- wish they had a duel open zipper (top and bottom), but still recommend the full zip. I love the little zip pocket on the arm. I can put a spare key in there for when I walk the dogs, a business card fits easily in there, and I can get my ipod nano in there with some trickery. The pockets located at the tummy area do not zip close, but are perfect for sliding your hands into when they need a little warmth or just to hang out. I can hold a wallet and cell phone in one of these pockets, but generally don’t do it for long because they don’t close.
These are a bit on the causal side. Look great with jeans and I wear one almost every weekend. I have worn the purple one to work with kakis and L.L.Bean’s Summer Harbor Shirt, short sleeve. It’s a great look.
Pros: lightweight, all around comfortable, warm, great colors, easy to wash and dry.
Cons: Can leave those annoying fuzzy balls sometimes- not on the garment itself, but leaves them sometimes. I don’t get them when I wear it under my wool winter coat, but do notice them on my computer bag.
So, would I recommend these? Yes! Would I get them again? I already have several, but my dog got a hold of the purple one and chewed off an arm and half the zipper (not sure what got into him!)- but I will get that color again… and keep it hanging up in the closet, ha!
