Love these and I'm wearing one right now. I jogged in it and then came home and got the dogs and took them out for a spin in it, and am now comfortably enjoying coffee at my computer in it. Love the fit and the way they look. Bright colors are great for visibility when out with traffic. Hood is great when first stepping out the door and the zipper allows for cooling once I'm warmed up. The zip pocket is great for a key and ID plus front pockets for tissue and doggie clean up bags. I wear them as shirts for exercise and the fabric is nice on bare skin. Only negative is that fuzzies will rub off on seat belts, so watch that one. Otherwise they wash great. I do line dry them because they dry so quickly and the fit is perfect. They pill a bit on the inside after a few washings, but not enough to be uncomfortable. I loved my fitness fleece quarter zips at first until the rediculously short sleeves relegated them to around-the-house wear because the sleeves are an embarrassing length as though they shrunk up. The hoodie does not have that problem, and it was a review like this that prompted me to try them in spite of the quarter-zip, and I am so glad I did. So, if you are worried about the sleeves, don't be with this one. It's super!
I have a number of excellent fleeces and hoodies from LLBean, and was keen to try the lightweight Fitness Fleece Hoodie. Features were good, although the arm pocket is too small to hold much more than some money or a house key. The fit was great for the first one or two washes, but the hoodie has since shrunk in length and stretched in width! I wash all of my fleece in cold water and hang them on the line to dry. This is the first LLBean fleece I have had issues with, but I can no longer wear it because it is too short!

I do have "many" of L.L.Bean`s Fleece tops but not one with a hoodie,except I have 3 in fleece that are vests with hoodies`...I chose the "sea rose"and it is great.Very well made,pockets which I need on a walk and a cuff at the end of the sleeve that is not folded back but different.Very good quality fleece I would say! My Labour Day surprise to myself as it arrived last week. A nice warm hoodie now that Fall has arrived here!A great colour,and style!I shall wear it often inside and out in the chilly weather or even under a jacket.
This is the softest sweater I have ever owned in my almost 48 years on this earth. It's perfect for wearing in an overly-air-conditioned office or as a light jacket on windy fall nights near the beach. (Remember, I'm in Fort Lauderdale.) It's not too tight, but it's not boxy, either...the fit is fabulous. Just bought one more in another color as a birthday gift to myself.
