I own 2 other fitness fleece jackets in other colors and decided to get the hoodie for a change last year. It quickly became one of my most favorite "to lounge around" clothes, I even wear this to office on Casual Fridays! It doesn't pile as much as I thought, I washed it on low inside out and set it on low dryer setting. The Pacific Blue is gorgeous shade of blue! Another great product from LL Bean and I'm not disappointed! Can't wait for this year's new colors, they always come out with great colors in the fall. I may just get another one again this year!
I have been very pleased with the hoodie I purchased. It's a wonderful light weight addition to my wardrobe. Mine has not pilled at all and hopefully it won't.
I really love the style of this fitness fleece hoodie. It is velvety soft, comfortable and very jean friendly. Cute layered over a plain old white tee shirt. I'm going back for more colors!
I bo't my first batch several weeks ago in several colors, and I'm back today for more. I can't speak to long-term endurance, but they certainly seem sturdy. Moreover, they are so smooth and cozy after several washes that from the first, I can barely stand to take them off. I literally wear them daily. These are indoor/outdoor appropriate, and I wear different sizes for different uses -- e.g. form-fitting for nicer occasions, larger for house-lounging. I find them true to size. Now that it is summer, I wear them outside only for my dawntime exercise and cool evenings. But indoors, they remain a staple. In fall and spring, I can picture wearing them many days outdoors, alone or layered. Outside in winter, they are not warm enough to wear alone. The only thing I'd change is the pockets; I'd prefer separate, zippered ones for security and comfort. Several colors are especially attractive. (Pacific Blue is a beautiful, electric mid-blue; Sugarplum is also special.) To clean, I turn them inside out to machine-wash on delicate and then hang-dry -- which takes just a few hours -- to avoid any potential pilling in the dryer. I can't say what machine-drying would do. My way, though, I have yet to spot the tiniest fuzzball. Rarely am I this happy and comfy with a piece of clothing.
