I bought this in white and yellow and brought the white on a month long trip for a light sweater. It pills and sheds white fuzz and little white balls all over everything, even after I washed it. My pants were covered with white and the next day after getting in the car with different clothes, they were soon covered with white fuzz. White fuzz covered the seat belt strap and transferred to clean clothes. I love the look and feel of it and it would be the perfect sweater if not for this problem. I sealed it in a plastic bag until we get home. I am not happy to have to write an uncomplimentary review but am frustrated and embarrassed by my appearance after wearing the fleece.
I bought this a few months back on sale in the store. I've worn it indoors and outside and it's great! Very lightweight to wear but warm and very comfy. I recently did a week long tour visitng colleges with my son and it was great wearing it. I didn't use any other sweater I brought. It transitioned well from outside to inside to outside and packed very well. Washes great and looks great-will buy another.
I was looking for a light weight fleece and this is perfect! It is great for indoors or outside when it is cool. I have 3 of the zip front hoodies and I have been wearing them a lot this spring. The inside does pill a little but I have not had a problem with the fleece rubbing off on other clothing as some of the other reviewers have reported.
I buy LL Bean fleece all the time and this was by far the worst fleece I've purched. It pills and leaves lint over everything.
The style itself is good. It's light weight so you don't overheat and the arm pocket is perfect for your cell phone and car key. It's just the quality of the fleece that's terrible.
