For those who like having a hood once in a while but usually are annoyed by its bulk, this is the hoodie for you. The hood is barely there and does not bounce or sway when you walk/jog -- but it keeps your head warm when you need it. This is very lightweight, so the pockets don't bulk up either, and you can easily wear it under a coat or vest. Velvet-soft material and extra-long cuffs so your wrists are covered. True to size, although the size skews closer to the high end of the range (small fits more like an 8 than a 6). I ordered the sugarplum, which is very pretty, but much pinker and less purple than shown in the catalog and online.
Got this first in yellow jasper and found it sooo soft and very lightweight, quite comfortable. Then got it in sea rose. Lovely colors. Keeps its shape well. Washes well, stays very soft and true to color. The inside is flat, fleecy side is out but it's still very soft and comfortable. Pockets are useful (things don't fall out). Zipper on left sleeve adds cachet even though I don't use it. I've pulled the hood up recently since my coat lacks a hood, and the fleece hood is warm and stays up well. Just one (minor) lack -- a loop for hanging.
Very cute hoodie! I bought a fitness fleece jacket years ago from LL Bean. I liked it OK but thought the body and the sleeves were a bit too short. I'm happy to say that this hoodie is a much-improved version - cute, longer body and sleeves. The wider band finish also makes it more presentable. Yellow jasper is a great color.
This fleece zip-up hooded sweatshirt is so lightweight and soft, yet so warm and cozy all at the same time! I received one for Christmas and I think I wear it at least 4 times a week. It washes well and has not shown any signs of wear. It has become my favorite piece of clothing. You will not be disappointed in this high quality fleece!
