I bought this jacket because the catalog that was sent to my home had an actual fabric sample of the fleece, and it was very soft and lightweight. I am not disappointed, the jacket is very soft, lightweight and very comfortable. It is also well-constructed. So far, I've primarily worn it inside the house and once outside when running errands. I've washed it once and it washed and dried beautifully. The color is true to the shade in the catalog. I'm thinking about getting another one in a different color. I definitely recommend this jacket if you want a lightweight layer. A great comfy jacket at a great price!
The other reviews are correct in that it is not fleecy inside. That works for me because it slides on easier over another layer. I also have larger upper arms and the XL was fitted and flattering with enough room in the arms. It feels great.
Love the feel and styling. Only thing I didn't love is the fit. I need an 8-10 and the sizing goes 6-8 and then 10-12. But am keeping item as it is lightweight and would only be wearing in slightly cold weather anyway with lightweight garments on underneath.
