The hoodie is lovely, but runs very small and isn't flattering. I've worn LLBean clothing for over 40 years and this is the skimpiest piece I've ever tried on. Very disappointing.
I am a big fan of fitness fleece but this is the first hoodie and I am not disappointed. I love the fit, the weight and the ease of the zipper. I wish they had more colors for women.
Like other reviewers, I think that fitness fleece layers well. It is very warm for the weight, which is featherlight. I have some older fitness fleece zip neck pullovers and they have had good wear. They do pill a bit eventually, but they are very good value for money and very comfortable. The fit of the new hoodie is excellent.
I own 3 and am ordered a 4th (hoodie). The material is light weight and perfect as a base layer for hiking or outer layer for short walks/jogs. Do not put in dryer - did this with the first one and it pilled a bit/wasn't soft anymore. If you air dry it stays super soft and doesn't pill.
