I have been a big fan of LL Beans lightweight microfleece fitness fleece for years. I have 4 of the pullovers and they look as good today as they did when I bought them. So I was very excited to see there was a hoodie jacket in this same lighweight fabric and in some fun colors. The nap is so smooth that it hardly looks or feels like fleece. I bght the Sea Rose which is a great coral color. I am a size 4 and the XS in the fitness fleece have always been the right fit for me. Designed to go over a lightweight tee shirt.
I'm a size small but ordered the medium to allow for etxra room. So it does not appear on me slighlty fitted as it does shown on the model. Nonetheless, I love it. It is very soft, lightweight, and warm.
I am planning to only wash it on delicate and dry with low heat to help preserve its quality.
Ordered the Pacific blue. The actual color is a little more vibrant than the computer screen depicts. It's very pretty though.
This is a cozy and well-fitting fleece, washes beautifully ... looks like new after much wear. I wore it everyday - under my Sunwashed Sweatshirt, bought both items in medium size, for travels to the Rocky Mountains in CO. Perfect for layering ... the weather changes by the minute up there. Both items kept me warm enough during the 40 degree evenings. During the days, just the fleece was perfect, over a tank-top.
I love this! In fact, I should say "these" because -- not being sure of the size -- I ordered two, one XS, one S, in two different colors. I ended up keeping both of them: the smaller one for just over a T-shirt, the larger for over more layers. They are nice and light -- perfect for summer. As others have noted, the sleeves do run long, but they can easily be folded back, and otherwise it's a true fit.
