I love how thin but warm this FF Hoodie is. I have the pullover and jacket already and love them both. I picked the pale orange and it's a nice, cheery color especially for this time of year. Wore it last night at my son's baseball game and it was just right for slightly chilly nights. I will be grabbing for this all summer long for cool nights.
Last fall the only size available for the pale orange, full zip fitness fleece was Large so I got that one but really preferred the fitness fleece in size M for me. I never did wear the large, but then I saw the new hoodie version of the fitness fleece so I exchanged my large for a M hoodie. I'm 5'6" 155 lbs.
I am such a fan of this fitness fleece! I own two full zips (black and medium blue), two quarter zip pullovers (true violet and chocolate) and now the pale orange hoodie version.
Yes this fleece is very thin. That is exactly why I love it. It is the perfect layer between me and my rain shell that I wear while bicycling to work. This last winter some mornings were 25 degrees and believe it or not a heavier layer of fleece is still too warm under my rain shell.
I wear this fleece all over town as well.
In the summer I wear just the fleece over a t-shirt in the morning then, when coming home in 90 degree heat, it folds up small enough to fit in my messenger bag.
Love this summerweight fitness hoodie. I purchased it in the orange and have been wearing it off and on since March in Vermont. Sizing is fine in my typical medium as I wear a 12. The fleece is of particularly good quality and does not pill as often times the comfort fleece can after a few washings and wearings. It is great to throw on on a cooler evening and I suspect will be wearing it into late October and beyond given the color.
I recently received my black Fitness Fleece Hoodie and I love it so much I think I will have to buy another one. Other reviewers have commented on the arm length being too long but I think it is just perfect, especially as I bike often and appreciate that it still covers my wrists while biking. It is so comfortable and the weight is just perfect. The usual LL quality is evident throughout. Thank you LLBean!
