These shorts are an example of the quality we expect from LL Bean. Fit great, wash without shrinking and come out of the dryer wrinkle free. This is a real plus when you are going from bicycling to dining in one active day on vacation.
I am petite and very hard to fit. These are the most comfortable and easy care shorts that I have had in years. I did, however, have to size down one size which I have not had to do with L.L.Bean's jeans or pants.
I have not bought shorts in several years. The description of comfort waist is what I was looking for. I wear size 12, I ordered size 12, and they fit perfectly.
The shorts are great. I failed to note that the comfort waist was all around the back and not just on the sides. When I look in the mirror, it blouses a little too much for my taste. I will still wear them, but with longer shirts.
