A little short and tight, and the waist is below natural waist line, so if you have a "tummy" at all, it won't be flattering. Returning this item. I'm 74 years old, fairly slim but--after 4 children--have a "tummy" and slightly larger than desired hips. Pants/shorts hitting at the natural waist line are definitely better.
Love my new Bayside twill front comfort waist shorts so much I've ordered additional pairs! They are the most comfortable shorts I've worn in recent years and require minimal upkeep...just wash, dry and wear!
