Nice Jacket

This is a great shell. Nice weight, good wind and rain protection. Wish it were 1 to 2 inches longer to completely cover butt. I went a size up to have sufficient room for lots of layering underneath.

GREAT jacket

Love my jacket- very thin and light weight but warm and therefore great for layering. only downside is the sizing was a bit bizzare- I was confused about what size I should get when I ordered it and even though my measurements were matched up it is a bit on the short side in the torso and arms - probably just my body haha but awesome jacket so far!

I was heading to Scotland for a hiking vacation in May and had been looking for something mid-weight that would hold up in mist, light rain and heavier showers. It had to be breathable enough so that I wouldn't get cold from sweating on the inside, and also keep me dry from the outside. We averaged 4-6 hours across open moors and up and down woodland paths. I wore a light base layer and light polartec with this jacket and was always comfortable. It dried quickly, provided extra control of air flow thru the pit zips and velcroed wrists, and has a flattering slightly contoured shape. Extra nice feature is the light polartec-lined collar, keeping you especially warm. I am 5/4, 190 pounds and the XL was a great fit. If you buy it, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.

This is the one! I spent all winter looking for a waterproof, windproof shell jacket for snowmobiling. I wanted sealed zippers, a removable hood (not a roll into the collar-those aren't great for with a helmet), pit zips, no insulation and a feminine shape. It proved impossible to find! This is the 5th jacket I ordered and the only one I kept. It's great. I'm 5'6" and a curvy 175 lbs and I ordered a large. It's perfect for wearing layers under, which is important for varying conditions throughout the day. If I weren't layering under it I may have wanted to try on a medium also. It is JUST a shell, so unless you're doing something pretty active you might get cold without layers underneath. It could also be a good spring/fall jacket on it's own. The length is good, not too long to sit down in and not too short to be flattering. The back is a little longer than the front so you don't expose your lower back to the elements when seated or bending. I might order another one just in case it's not available when this one wears out from me wearing it all the time!
