This sweater caught my attention while at an LL Bean store today. It is far more attractive than the photo suggests. It fits well and has a silky "feel."
In fact, this was my favorite item in the current collection. It goes nicely with all the verdant greens that are so popular this spring-- especially Bean's new foliage green chino pants or skirt.
Paired with any of Bean's foliage green tops it enlivens a pair of jeans. For those women looking for a refreshing and classic look this season, this sweater is the perfect start.
I purchased the bright navy polka dot. As mentioned the dots are not pure white, but as I usually wear cream this was perfect for me. The fine guage is so soft. I'll be buying this one in more colors!
I sent the blue polka-dot sweater to my 24 year old daughter as a surprise gift (always an iffy proposition). Whew! She LOVED it! She's a second year teacher trying to dress more professionally while still looking her age. This fit the bill perfectly. I just ordered the one with the boats on it for myself. I'll let you know how that works out too!
