When I opened the package I thought they sent the wrong sweater. I'd never order something in such an ugly color. It looks nothing like the photo of the sweater in "pomegranate" color. What you get is a really ugly coral color. Barf! I'm sending it back.
I have this sweater in three colors and will be getting more. It is soft and comfortable. The bright navy goes with so many things I almost always take it on business trips. I love the grosgrain ribbon inside the placket. It washed well; I don't put it in the dryer.
I bought this sweater last year in red, and I plan to purchase another in navy.
This sweater has worn incredibly well. The color and shape stay well through several washings. What I love about this sweater the most has to be the weight and the fit. The sleeves are long enough to cover cold wrists, but not too long. Where it falls allows for those of us who where lower-rise pants to maintain some modesty without looking like I'm wearing a muumuu. When I first bought it, I thought the buttons were not going to stick around for very long, but I have to say, they're all still on and there are no loose threads! The shiny-ness of the buttons compliments the cheery polka-dots well.
All in all, I am so happy with this sweater. It's light enough to carry around on public transit, and yet it's not filmy and see-through, either. Last but not least, I get compliments on this thing every time I wear it, which is often.
