I ordered the sweater in a large, and was very happy with it when I first saw it. I loved the color (pomegranite). When I tried it on I thought I might like it better if it was a little bigger, so I ordered it in the x-large. When I got the x-large it was exactly the same size as the large! I buttoned up both sweaters and laid one on top of the other. They were exactly the same. I was very disappointed. I am sending both sweaters back!
This is a fine sweater. The weight is good for moderate temperatures. I have always ordered medium sizes in my LLBean sweaters and have been pleased. After reading other reviews, I finally decided to order a large in this style. It fits well enough to not exchange; however, I have small shoulders and a medium would have fit.
Was immediately drawn to the color combination; nice clear colors. Fit is great! Cute buttons, soft feel, nice arm length for those of us with long arms :) Wore it for the first time and was COMPLIMENTED by my husband (shock); positive remarks continued through the day at work. Went back to LLBean that afternoon and was complimented by two associates. Now that's a great purchase.
