I titled this long on style because this sweater is long enough to wear with a belt if you like that style, and I do. I also like to tuck it in sometimes and no problem there either. I love the neckline and the soft, fine knit. My one slight problem with it was that the sleeves tend to ride up a little after wearing for awhile, but that is something one tends to run into with fine knits when aiming for the kind of softness and drape that I like about this sweater overall. Like some other LLBean black knits, this sweater is not a jet black and it's one of the things I appreciate about it, because it's a somewhat softer, more casual look.
This is a wonderful summer sweater, lightweight and not heavy. Great to wear with a skirt or dress pants to work or with a pair of capri's in the evening.
I've worn this for special occasions but it feels like I'm wearing something casual. I have it in the pink and I get many complements. I've worn it with slacks and jeans. Add a pearl necklace and it's stunning.
This sweater is a great buy. It can be dressed up for work or down with jeans. It is also a very flattering fit and doesn't shrink. I only wish there were more colors!
