I purchased one of these as a gift, and the recipient loved it. The fabric is thick, soft, and extremely wrinkle resistant. Very,very nice. As much as I love the Women's wrinkle resistant pinpoint shirts, it would be great to get this non-pinpoint oxford/wrinkle resistant fabric in a Women's version.

Perfect Fit. Ready out of the dryer. Great look and fabric. Wish I had more! Trim is trim enough for most, although not a big difference from the regular cut. I highly recommend as an everyday dress/work shirt. I do have another like this one that has weathered well for over 3 years of wear and still looks great.
The point of ordering this shirt was because of trim fit. It is far from trim fit. The sleeves are 1" on the flat too billowy- 2" on the round and the body is barely trim. Fabric and construction as per LLBean standards but that is why I went to LLBean. Was pleasantly pleased to see "trim fit" but alas sadly they dropped the ball. Looking forward to "new improved trim fit"...until then.
As always with L.L. Bean, the quality of this shirt is great. However, I can't help but notice that there is almost no difference between this so-called "trim fit" shirt and any other generic fit shirt I have. The sleeves are too large, and the shirt itself has that "billowy" look. I'm 6'3, 175lbs and this shirt was far looser than I'd have expected for a "trim fit" shirt.
However, I understand L.L. Bean's main products aren't formalwear so I can't get too upset about this. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to get the two shirts I bought custom tailored so they actually are "trim fit".
I feel bad for giving such a low rating for an L.L. Bean product, but this is probably the only product I wouldn't buy again-- at least until they get them fitting better. Seems to me all that was done is a slight alteration to the sides of the shirt in order to make it trimmer, but that small alteration is hardly noticeable.
