Let me just start by saying I think Ironing is for the Birds. That being said, I have NEVER once had to even think about ironing this shirt. Yet frequently people stop and ask what Cleaner I use for my shirts. I laugh and tell them I iron it myself.
My only gripe with these shirts, is lack of color selection. LL Bean please hear us, and give us more colors (esp in Trim Fit). I will buy every single color you put out. I plan on eliminating most of my "lesser" button ups and replacing them with these. I am an absolute fanatic for these!!
These shirts are amazing. They come out of the dryer ready to wear. They look great with a suit or casual. i own 12 , would own more if they have more colors and/or make trim ones with stripes. The oldest ones i own still look like new. Incredible. Please bring back the white shirts.. People at the laundry are always asking me where to get them. I am tempted to buy 3 more. Best $30 i have ever spent in my life. I thank my sister all the time for giving me the first one. I am iron free.
I hate ironing. These shirts are AMAZING. It is absolutely without a doubt the best shirt I own. They come out of the dryer absolutely perfectly. I work at a very conservative bank and have no problem pulling one out of the dryer and wearing it under a suit. Also great on casual Friday with khakis and a belt or on weekends with shorts or jeans. Seriously...I reach for one of these almost constantly. Which brings up the ONLY flaw in this shirt...we absolutely must have more colors. Pink, light green, purple, yellow, ecru...if you make it, I'll buy it.
The fit on these shirts is also awesome. I'm not a big guy, but I'm not small either. The shirt is very flattering and fits like it was made for me.
In short...do yourself a favor and buy this shirt. You will absolutely LOVE it. LL Bean...I'm not the only one who has written this so please listen...we need more colors in this in the oxford.
These shirts are just great. I wear them every day, literally. You can get the sleeve and neck length excatly the measurement you want. And you never, I mean never have to iron them!! Only complaint is that the elbow wears out every 6 months, I guess because i sit at a desk most of the day with my elbows on it. Not fixable and I have to buy new shirts.
