This shirt is not for skinny guys. I'm 5'6", 125 lb and unfortunately the waist is too big and the arms are really baggy (by 1-1.5 inches). I could get it darted but slimming the sleeves could be too costly.
It's disappointing because the quality of the shirt itself is amazing (fabric and sewing)!
If L.L. Bean made a true slim fit or XS with 14" neck, 30" waist and the same sleeve length I would buy them in every colour!
LL Beans oxford shirts are great. The trim fit is even better. Even though I have always liked the regular fit shirts I have always thought they were too big - like wearing a parachute around the waist. The trim fit is perfect! PLEASE make more styles with this fit.
a nice shirt, heavy fabric, so not a summer shirt, but nicely cut for trim fit. not as tight as other "fitted" shirts, but not too baggy either. my only issue was the neck seemed to fit large. i am usually a 15.5, but seemed too big for me. may just be where it sits on my neck. but if you are between two sizes, go with the smaller one. arm length a little shorter than other brands too, so if you are between two sizes, i would go with the larger one.
