This is a great looking shirt but the durability of the cloth is horrible - it has ripped - on three (3) seperate occassions - I was crazy to re-order it three times but my husband really liked it. The rip occurs in the same place each time - in the back, just below his belt line - as he tries to tuck-in the back. Time to look else where.
LL Bean customer service is unparalleled: I bought this item according to their size chart and it was huge, so I never wore it. A year later I stumbled across the unworn shirt in my closet and decided to call them to discuss their sizing -- they were extremely helpful and promptly asked me to return the shirt for a properly sized one, which I did (sans receipt). Not only was I stunned by their return policy and the patience and time taken by their customer care representative, but the replacement was perfect in all regards. Quite simply, they have won (yet another) lifelong customer.
It has a very nice firm feel and substance. Very comfortable, great casual shirt with jeans on a cool fall day. Great for a day off or business casual at the office. Looks crisp and sharp.
