Slightly Fitted is more fitted in arms
PostedMarch 27, 2014
I couldn't quite figure out why this shirt fit differently than my last same-sized Trim Fit one until I compared the arms. The arms have been slimmed - which is what many wanted - and it does feel a bit tight in the forearm and the underarm. The arm seems to ride up slightly more when bent since it is tighter. Quality still seems as good as before. But not sure if I should return for a larger size.

Good Quality, Poor Fit
PostedFebruary 18, 2014
I bought this shirt with exact neck and sleeve sizing hoping that the fit would be better than Bean's sport shirt sizing (too baggy even in trim fit). The fit of this shirt was good in the neck, sleeve and waist but, too small through the chest. The quality of the fabric and workmanship did appear to be good.

Great quality
PostedFebruary 1, 2014
Great quality as expected from Beans. I have several of these shirts in the traditional fit but had always wished they were slightly more fitted so I thought I'd give the "slightly fitted version" a try. The shirt is definitely slimmer which is great, but it doesn't stay tucked in as well as the traditional fit. My only suggestion would be to make the shirt slightly longer (or allow one to order a longer length in the 14.5 neck size) to compensate for the fact that because there is less material due to the trimmer fit, this shirt needs to be "re-tucked" throughout the day.

Disappointed
PostedJanuary 28, 2014
I bought this shirt at Christmas of 2012 for my boyfriend. When it arrived I thought the color looked great and the material was great. My boyfriend wore the shirt twice and washed it twice. After the second wash, two holes appeared in the shirt near the cuff ruining it. I was really disappointed that this happened considering it cost $50ish to buy. I would not recommend this shirt and next would buy a different brand.
