I ordered these pants a size larger as recommended but found they were too big (not the worse thing since i brooched the edge of sizing). That said, i LOVE them, so very comfortable and lightweight. I did wash them since there is some cotton in them to see if they would shrink, but they held their size well. On that note, I just ordered 2 pair in my regular 'jean' size and think they will be just fine.
I'm on the heavy side and did not like the fit of these. They are kind of sloppy looking. Fine around the house, but I wouldn't wear them to run errands.
