The leather is smooth and supple, the buckle/clasp are durable and finish is nice. This belt really looks sharp with jeans and a casual sportcoat. I ordered it an inch larger than my normal jean waistline, and it fits nice.
I needed a belt because I purchased 4 new pairs of Double L jeans, an upgrade from waist 32 to 34. However, I lost weight in the buttocks and leg area, and thus needed the belt. This belt is really sturdy, and pretty thick. I was worried about the length due to other reviews, but mine measures a perfect 34" middle hole to buckle - just what I ordered. Would definitely buy again.
