Love the belt, but threading it through the buckle is made difficult by the squared off edges of the free end. As stated, the belt is excellent, but would be even better if the corners of the free end were rounded off a bit. I'm ordering another in a different color.
Some reviews complain of the broad width and problems cinching the belt up. I have no trouble with either. Yes, it's 1.5 inches wide. Don't get it unless you want a slightly wider belt. Cinching it up is easy and standard for a nylon belt of this type.
I recommend it highly.
Oh and since it runs on the long size, I had no trouble cutting it down to size, then melting the end with a lighter. Looks perfect too. I might have voided the warranty but I'm not worried. This belt should last me decades.
Seems to be made well enough, and looks cool, but the belt is too slippery to really tighten well. When you pull on the end to cinch it, it just slips around the waist. I guess this is why you don't see many nylon belts (I've got similar designs in cotton, and they work great).
