Very rugged belt, but the tip is not angled, so it hangs up in belt loops of trousers. Also, it's a bit wide, which is good in some respects, but is a little tight in the belt loops. If the angle were there on the tip, probably wouldn't be such an issue. If you look at comparable belts, which have been on market for years, most have an angle to the tip. Also, the price is no awesome deal.
This belt disappointed me in a couple of ways, but I think it is a good product anyway. I wanted a really simple belt. I just wanted something inexpensive to hold up my pants. That's all. I was expecting the buckle to be plastic not metal, and I think I'd like it better if it was only an inch wide instead of an inch and a half. Otherwise, I really like it and it does the job.
I was looking for an everyday belt. I had been using an cotton web belt. But over time is frayed and got soiled. I looked for something that would be long wearing and utilitarian. This belt fit the bill. It is good looking, will wear well and will easily clean up. Plus it is the rigth width and can easily be shorten.
i ordered this about a month ago and have nothing but high marks for this product. its rugged enough for outdoors and nice enough for a casual night out. llbean has made yet another winner.
