My husband has been looking locally in vain for a good, reasonably priced web belt for wear with hiking pants/shorts. I saw this one in the LLB catalog, and gave it a try. He reports that it is just what he wanted, basic color, sturdy, easy to adjust.
I bought this belt for my husband to wear while boating. It fits well and does the job. He feels it cost too much, but we found that it was versatile. Last week, we were going snorkeling and when we came up short on weight belts, he thought of his new belt. The weights slipped right on, stayed in place, and presto! a weight belt. A bit of serendipity?
As a vegetarian, I was looking for a belt that was both leather free and durable. Most cotton or nylon belts either come loose too easily and need readjusting or get worn and ripped easily. This belt is strong and stays in place without readjusting. It's a bit stiff and needs a break-in period but that's a not a big deal. I've bought 2 of these now (brown and black) and couldn't be happier. I've worn these with shorts, jeans, and with formal attire.
