This belt is definitely a good value, but probably not the right choice. The end of the belt which passes through the buckle appears to simply be cut straight across, and then sealed (the material is nylon). This lack of taper on the end makes it hard to pass the end of the belt through the belt loops on your slacks or shorts, and frankly has a habit of sticking your side or abdomen when sitting or bending over. Extra large size was definitely extra long, and then some - I could easily have used the next smaller size to fit my 38"-40" slacks size.
Belt is exactly what I want EXCEPT! Belt is too wide for buckle making it difficult to push belt through buckle when putting belt on. I cut corners of belt at 45 degrees to help starting belt but it is still hard to use.
