I am so disappointed about the sizing of this belt. I normally wear a 0 or 2 and therefore originally ordered a XS. It was too small for low rise pants, so I did a return and ordered the S. The small arrived today and it is too big! I can wear it but there is just so much extra that it doesn't have the polished look I was hoping this belt would achieve. Darn. The colors were perfect.
The patent finish seems durable, and I think the belt is well-constructed. It has two loops to hold the overhang past the buckle, which I like. As for sizing, I would normally take a Small for my waist and a Large for low-rise pants. Since other reviews said it ran big, I ordered a Medium Navy, Small Green, and X-small Pacific Blue. Well, the Medium Navy is fine for low-rise, and the Small Green is OK for mid-rise, but the X-small Pacific Blue was too big everywhere. So, I guess, I'd say consider the return shipping cost carefully when ordering.
This belt looks very nice, but as another reviewer said, it runs big! The measurement of a size L belt to the first and last holes is 32-38" and the holes are in 1" increments. I do not have a size M yet but I'm going to assume the whole thing runs ~3" shorter. Maybe this will help others order correctly the first time.
