I ordered this belt because I needed a skinny belt to hold up mt pants. I did not like this belt because it is thick and patten leather. I wanted a thin real black leather belt. I am still looking.
I ordered this belt in a size Large, true to the size chart with my 32 1/2 waist. However, I found the belt to be too big, running out of holes to cinch the belt with!! I loved how it was so skinny for wearing around looser-fitting sweaters to give them shape. It was also very well made. I've needed a new belt for awhile. Sadly, this had to go back due to the sizing. I think I will order next time in a medium or maybe even a small -- this belt runs big!
Be sure to call and get the exact lengths when ordering, based on how you want to use it. If at waist over a cardigan, measure your waist. If worn in belt loops, measure the waist of your pants (upper hips). Big difference! BTW the weird smell from the painted leather goes away eventually (although it did stink up my closet for a while!).
