This belt is very skinny indeed, but I ordered the red to wear with navy and white during the summer and it looks great. It's a nice little shot of color. Couple of wearings and it's holding up fine. I'm going to order in other colors.
I can't remember the last time I returned an item to LL Bean. I was very disappointed with the quility of this item. Had a very cheap feeling to it, looks like it will show wear after only a few times wearing it. Also the belt buckle already had a warn look, maybe that's supposed to be. The great part, return is a hassle-free process. Not worth the original price. This will NOT deture me from making future LL Bean purchases.
This belt had so much potential. I had been looking for a belt that size and color but when I unraveled it from the shipping bag it got lumps and bumps from being lengthened straight. I was very disappointed with the patent leather black belt. Am returning it.
I'm very disappointed in the quality of the Patent Leather Belt Skinny. I got one in Nautical Red and the color is mottled with black throughout and the surface of the belt wrinkles and bubbles as soon as the belt is uncoiled. Also, as a general complaint the belt is much too thick for a skinny belt and thus is very stiff and unflattering. I'm returning it immediately.
