I received this belt a couple weeks ago and haven't been able to wear it because of the horrible chemical smell. It was so bad, the room in which I opened the package, stunk. It's been hanging out in the air all this time. Most of the stench is gone but not enough to wear. Too bad, because it is really a neat looking, sturdy belt. I gave it 2 stars because of the smell.
I looked high and low in stores for quality thin belts; finally found online at LL Bean. I purchased 3 although they are quite pricey because I know the quality will allow for many years of use. I plan to use over sweaters, tops, or plain dresses to add interest to an outfit, so was glad to see a variety of colors.
