ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, very well made
This coat is very well made, by far the nicest coat i have owned to date. I especialy like the hood design. The hood draws tight creating a little brim to help keep rain or snow off your goggles or glasses, it is insulated and due to the design stays out of the way when your putting on your coat and if you like it can easily be taken off when not needed. The coat is nice and warm without being to heavy and has side pockets that actually keep your hands warm and has plenty of other pockets to carry your stuff. IMO i do not think the Bean warrenty can be beat and is proof of a quality product so i am confindent this coat will last many years.
I bought this jacket for my son. It is nice looking, decently priced & appears will keep him warm once the temperatures drop (still to be determined). The unfortunate thing about this jacket is that the sleeves are much too short. I had to buy him a size larger than he really needs (medium) to try & gain a little sleeve length. Even that didn't help much. Hopefully this won't prove a problem when he's wearing layers underneath.
I bought this coat because it's warm and stows into its own pocket. I just used it for a trip to Turkey. It stows quite easily and is not bulky for a carry on in your backpack. I am using it again next week for another trip.
