The jacket is warm, very light, comfortable to wear and easy to pack. The hood is adjustable, 5 pockets (4 zippered). The only possible improvement I can think of could be to make it a bit longer but still the product is excellent.
As of late I've been let down a bit with some of the clothes that I've ordered from LL Bean.....but, I could not be happier with this jacket. The fit is fantastic....not too bulky and yet perfectly warm. Love the insulated hood!

I have several different jackets all with Primaloft insulation and this is, by FAR, my favorite. I wear this jacket almost everyday all winter long and as an insulating layer when skiing and ice climbing. I know that this will be my go-to jacket for pretty much any situation, year-round.
I bought this jacket last December. It is by far the warmest jacket I have ever owned. I spend tons of time outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and working, and this jacket is always with me. Packability is excellent.
The fit runs true to size for me, and is roomy enough to layer under with a wool shirt and vest, and also to wear with a shell garment as an outer layer. The design is light, functional, and super warm. This is well made gear with the LL Bean value I grew up with.
