Bought this jacket in black petite med. 2 yr. ago, then last mo. in blue ridge med. regular. the sleeves are a bit longer but manageable. Am 5'2 and usually wear 8 petite top Happy with the fit and feel of this jacket. Can wear a comfort fleece under it and stay nice and warm. Rich-looking jacket.
Love this jacket. I'm small, 5' tall, 105 lbs. But I decided to get a large, regular, jacket because I want more coverage on the bottom. I tried a petite medium and a petite large as well, and the sleeve length is perfect, not too short like what some reviewers have said. This jacket will be perfect for hiking in late fall, winter and early spring as well as winter sports. It will pack well in my backpack when I get a bit warm.
Not nearly enough pockets for modern use. I pack smartphone, iPod & wallet all year. In winter, I add gloves, tissues, cough drops. BEAN _ WE NEED MORE POCKETS!!
The red color was attractive, the fit was snug, the hood was enormous - way too big for a human head, even adjusted to the smallest possible with velcro tab.
I loved the fabric, the light weight and the color, but the hood and lack of pockets were, in tandem, deal breakers. Back it goes.
