ProsDurable, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, attractive non-bulky fit
This is a perfect all-round jacket for our maritime climate in the Pacific Northwest. It is lightweight, rain resistant, cozy warm, and very comfortable. In addition, it has technical features that are useful for outdoor sports or general casual wear. Some customers have commented on the large hood size; however I find the hood size is fine - with two way adjustability. I ordered the red and absolutely love the color. It's bright but not garish. The "size up" recommendation was good. I like to be able to wear a heavier sweater or fleece underneath in the colder months. Two final points - this jacket is versatile and fit is feminine.
I bought this jacket for something lightweight to ski in. I have been thrilled with how warm it is. I wear a light sweatshirt underneath it and it's been absolutely perfect for this Vermont skiing! I really feel like I don't have a jacket on. Just because it's lightweight doesn't mean it isn't warm. This beats my 3-in-1 jacket I have from a well-known brand, hands down!!
i love my coat! it's unbelievably light, but i have never been cold in it (i swear, primaloft is the best stuff ever!). it's nicely waterproofed, and i can squish it into an inside pocket and stuff it in my bag. the other pockets hold absolutely everything. it feels great on; it's fitted, but not tight, and very easy to move in. it has an athletic, flattering look, and i love the toggles at the waist and hood, no snow gets in at all! when i wear this coat with a sweater underneath, i could brave a blizzard. i know i'll be nice and toasty for many winters to come.
After much debating, I finally decided on this coat for every day. I am really happy with it so far- its warm, comfortable, and goes with everything. Its casual, but looks great with jeans and boots and can still be worn sledding and out playing in the snow. I was worried it was going to be too puffy, but its not! I ended up with the black one after returning the red. The red was a little too orange for me. It definitely wasn't as bright as in the pictures.
