This jacket is great - I love how light it feels while keeping me warm. The tapered fit is flattering and I love the red color. Appreciate the multiple pockets!
Great winter jacket! I took my daily walk when it was 23 degrees. I felt no chill at any time. This lightweight jacket kept me very warm. I love the range of motion my shoulders and arms have. No tightness at all. The hood is large, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps to accomodate a large hat? Also, the red jacket is actually a very bright orange-red. No one will lose sight of me in a snow squall! Overall, a very good purchase. Maybe LLBean can make a lightweight glove that will keep my fingers warm. I haven't found a pair yet that wasn't a bulky ski glove.
I loved the feel and fit of this jacket. So lightweight and easy to move around in. Unfortunately I am sending mine back. I purchased the black one and just after trying it on it started showing lint and dust. With two cats and young kids, I think this jacket would look filthy all the time. Not sure if this would be a problem in other colors, though.
Excellent purchase! I needed a new Winter jacket and this fit the bill perfectly. It keeps me warm, dry and looking good. I had a hard time deciding between the red and the blue at first but finally opted for the blue and it looks great! (If only I could justify buying the red one also...)
